Nepal is a country bordered to the north by the Tibet Autonomous Region, to the south, east and west by India. There are three different regions: Terai plains on the edge of India, the hills of the Himalayan foothills and the high mountains of the Himalayan range, including Everest, the highest peak in the world. The national language is Nepali. Nepal is made up of many ethnic groups, each with their own dialect, but English learned in school to spoken fluently. Thanks to its geographical location (latitude, altitude) and despite the monsoons, Nepal can be visited all year round; however spring and autumn are preferred.
